About Me!
With a BA in Fashion Design and Business Studies and a 20-year career in marketing, I have also spent over a decade as a creative product business owner. I returned to full-time work when both my children were just three months old and have experienced redundancy and burnout. Over the past few years, I've focused on figuring out how to do things for myself, build better businesses, and enjoy life rather than doing things 'just because' and living on the hamster wheel of life. Now, I'm sharing my learnings with other successful women so they can build better businesses, be better leaders, and live better lives.
What I do!
I'm a female leadership, business and marketing consultant, supporting women to STOP working like men by bringing the feminine economy into business strategies. I help to create better leaders who invest in themselves, support their team and avoid frustration or burnout.
Women have made amazing progress in the workplace, however, we entered a workplace that was created by - and for men. To thrive, many of us have adopted a masculine persona and business strategy, often resulting in feeling exhausted and ashamed of not knowing what to do next!
How I work
My approach is twofold:
Identifying and making personal change - In order to make a change in your business or organisation, you often need to identify your own personal barriers and navigate a pathway of change. (Informed by The Foundations of Women-Centered Coaching developed by The Institute for Women-Centered Training, Coaching & Leadership established by Dr Clare Zammit).
Business and Marketing strategy - I overlay traditional business and marketing strategy with a feminine economy structure focussing on workplace culture, the planet and money, challenging established norms and identifying how to get results that align to the business values and vision.
My methodology isn't about polarising ways of working it's about creating your own rhythm and not always conforming to a patriarchal structure.
My Contribution
Despite learning business in a capitalist world I have always managed to weave philanthropy into projects.
